Radical Self-Care for Asian Pacific American (APA) Womxn
How many times have we said that we need to take care of ourselves and end up putting it on hold in order to take care of our family or serve our communities? This workshop explores how our identities as APA womxn affect our outlook on self-care. We’ll discuss what radical self-care means, and you’ll have a deeper sense of commitment to taking care of yourselves and a plan that’s specifically tailored to you.
Building an Enviable Non-Profit Work Culture
In this age of limited funding, high turnover, and a never-ending stream of clients, how do you create a healthy work culture that prioritizes self-care and community care? What makes non-profit staff, board members, and volunteers feel engaged and energized? Healthy non-profit work cultures lead to happier employees = higher retention = higher quality of services. This workshop will discuss what care looks like at an organizational level and what you can do in creating this environment. You’ll get specific strategies and tools to create a work culture that your staff will love.
Asian Pacific American Womxn Leadership Circles
Join our monthly safe space circles for deep conversation where you can connect with other Asian Pacific American Womxn in non-profits who are facing the same challenges as you. We’ll explore a different topic every month. These circles are the perfect opportunity if you’re looking to learn, network, and/or could benefit from peer support.
